General Info

For over 30 years, MasterRead has provided one-on-one tutoring – no groups – and no contract. Families tell us they like our affordable rates. We work with students from prekindergarten through grade 12. We also work with college students and adults. Most of our students have come to us by word of mouth – families recommending us to others. MasterRead offers tutoring in reading, math, writing, and spelling. We teach study skills and also offer homework help and test preparation. We also help prepare students to take the ACT test for college. For each student who comes to MasterRead, we create a plan to fit the needs of that student, and progress can be rapid. Greater self-confidence, more motivation, and an improved attitude toward learning are just some of the benefits families tell us that they notice once MasterRead starts helping their child do better in school.
