Wow....what a place! I always have an amazing time here! Krista is amazing! She knows her stuff! And the receptionist Anita, ...... she cracks me up every single time I am in! She is precious!

My experiences at d'markos are always great!!!! No matter how busy it is, I get personal treatment. Anita and Haley are always nice and greet me with a smile. Even a hairstylists (Christy) who does not normally work in the giftshop assisted me even though she had to do a lot of running around to get the info that I needed. I was never made to feel like a burden! Great Staff! I guarantee you that there is no Salon around that is so classy with an non snobby staff!!!

I followed my stylist, Debbie, to D'Markos and am so happy that I did. At my first appointment, Anita made me feel like I'd been coming here for years. I have had just about every service D'Markos offers - hair cut, color, waxing, massage, and facial - and have been pleased with every service they offer. I have purchased several gifts from the boutique as well.

I love D'Markos. I have been coming here for about 3 years. I get my makeup here, my hair and eyebrows done. The staff has always been very friendly and welcoming. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

I have been coming here for approx 4 yrs. The staff always makes me feel welcome and my hair stylist Kakena does a GREAT job cutting and coloring my hair. Also, Nita, the receiptionist is so personable and always greets you by name when you arrive and never fails to say something nice to me. I leave feeling pampered.

I love d'Markos! Ruthie Thomas is a lovey person inside and out as well as a talented hairdresser. She is great with short hair and knows how to bring an "edge" to classic looks. Carrie is my colorist and she, just like Ruthie, is VERY knowledgable and fun and great with knowing just how much highlight/lowlight I need. The very BEST part is all the staff is pleasant and personable and NEVER have a problem if I need to bring my boys with me to an appointment. It's a family friendly atmosphere for sure and my boys actually look forward to the appointments that are just for them! (Ruthie cuts their hair, too) And don't forget, the boutique that is attached has a wonderful, unique selection of gifts and great clothing for women. Five starts from this busy mom!

when I moved up here from New Orleans I was worried that I'd never find another hair dresser like my old one. I drove a friend to d'Markos Salon and was impressed with the salon and the gift shop. While I was waiting, I talked with the owner (my friend's hairdresser) about cutting my long hair short. Kelly Rhea was great. She looked at the texture of my hair, had me look at several books and find styles that I liked and then told me which ones would work wit my hair. Long story short...She cut my hair and I was so excited with the results that I sent pictures of the "new me" to all my friends in New Orleans. I get compliments all the time on my hair (even though I'm not a great stylist...).

The boutique is great. I ALWAYS find little things in there that I "need" either for me or my home. In short...I'm SO GLAD that I found d'Markos and Im sure you will too.

Just went to D'Markos for the first time last week and had a great experience! Everyone was super nice and Debbie was great! I have gotten so many compliments on my hair! I highly recommend checking them out!

There are always 2 sides to every story and from the reviews I have read on here I am going to give my opinion on D'Markos and hope that whomever reads this ignores the other silly reviews. I have been getting my Hair styled by Debbie for 38 years and she is one of the best stylists in the City of Montgomery and she works at D'Markos. When I walk in they speak to me they make me feel at home and it is like any good salon, you go there to have a good experience and tell some stories with your friend (your stylist) men and women alike. This is a professional establishment and customers are treated as such. They bend over backward to work with me for my crazy appointment times and schedules and they do it with a smile. The salon is the best place to relax and catch up with your friends so if you do not want to hear other people chatting then go to the library and leave the salon for the people who enjoy the experience.

Unprofessional and mediocre service. The girl cutting my hair was talking loudly to another stylist about their wild and crazy weekend, and how they were falling down drunk.

And futhurmore, I could have gone to Wal-Mart and gotten the same haircut for $50 cheaper.

Very unprofessional business. I pre-paid three months in advance to have a hair dresser and the make up girl go on location for my wedding. The owner's family came to town and wanted hair and make up so the owner wanted to cancel the services for me. The girls did come and they were late and it was a terribly rushed job. Several of the girls that were supposed to be made up and get up-do's received a 'half way' job and yet I was charged fully. I was also not told that there would be a travel fee but I was charged anyway. Very unprofessional! I would not use this business at all.
