I am new to the Montgomery area and I am not familiar with any repair shops. I needed a new muffler and a friend recommend I take it to Childs. I took my car to Child's around 10:30 on Saturday morning. They took a look, gave me an estimate (around $80),, and replaced my muffler within a hour. The final price was $85. I was very impressed with the speed of service and that the estimated price was spot one to the final price. I had looked for mufflers on different car part websites prior to going to Childs and the cheapest muffler I could find for my car was about $95. Not only did I get an accurate estimate and fast service, but it was cheaper than if I would have tried to do it myself. This was the first time I left a repair shop and felt that I received great service and a fair price. Childs made my day. I would not hesitate to take my car there again!
