Carver Elementary is an educational institution that provides educational opportunities to students in kindergarten through grade five. The school provides a flexible academic program with an emphasis on the development of basic learning and thinking skills. The school employs special education aides, speech therapists, technology coordinators, reading coaches, media specialists, custodians and guidance counselors. The school provides lessons in choral music, classical guitar, dance, drama, instrumental music, piano, string instruments and visual arts. The elementary school has a media center that offers a collection of Internet resources, books, magazines and newspapers. A part of Montgomery Public School, Carver Elementary is based in Montgomery, Ala.
