Cardiology Services are offered by the Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, which is a nonprofit health care center that was founded in 1934. Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula provides a range of medical care services, such as dietary, pharmacy, pulmonary, radiation, oncology, radiology, rehabilitation and respiratory therapy. It operates cardiac catheterization laboratory and surgery, family birth, breast care and diagnostic centers. The hospital also offers a variety of treatment services for sleep and behavioral disorders. Located in Monterey, Calif., the center maintains more than 200 acute care and skilled nursing beds. The Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula additionally operates a mental health clinic and satellite laboratories.
