Pros – Good clam chowder, complementary calamari appetizer, and nice ocean view seating. Cons – Clam chowder pricey at $9 per bowl, served and billed for a salad we didn’t order, and bathroom lights automatically turned off on my wife.

On November 7 2009 I was in monterey with my daughter and my 2 young nieces.For starters the waiter was of very poor hygine and had an attitude.That should have been my number one sign to get up and run.We were sitted directly across from kitchen when I heard the worst vulgarity ever used.I approached the owner immediatley and all he did was send another worker in there!Nothing was done and it continued.The food was HORRIABLE.Overcooked burger,Soggy fish and bread harder then concrete!The clam chowder,well thats another story.It was terriable!!!After attempting to try it,I could not take anymore of the kitchen potty mouth so I asked for my bill minus my awful plate and my neices BURNT,OVERCOOKED BURGER. As I was leaving,I was approached by the cook who procedeed to TRY and talk down on me. His comment to me was,"We never get complaints here!!!! Only from DUMB MEXICANS Like you!" All was said in front of 3 CHILDREN!!!!
