      Central Coast Community Health Care, located in Monterey, Calif., offers a range of services under Visiting Nurse Association Community Services. The institution works closely with the Monterey County Health Department in California and provides an employee wellness program, cholesterol and diabetes testing and immunization clinics. The immunization drives include meningococcal prevention, immunizations for teenagers, travel health consultation and immunizations, flu clinics and planning for pandemics. The institution s employee wellness program involves the presence of registered nurses on-site to test cholesterol, blood glucose and blood pressure. Health clinics are held during staff meetings, annual employee picnics, health fairs, change of shift and insurance enrollment periods.
