Our mission is to proclaim the message urgently and effectively in Rockland and Bergen Counties that Jesus Christ is the only Savior and Lord, and to work to fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples within our community, so that people will mature as servants of the triune God, will worship God in spirit and truth, and will have a reforming influence in society. New Hope Christian Church has been proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ in Monsey and ministering to people in Rockland, Bergen, and all over northern Jersey since 1824. We are a small historic congregation, still mostly traditional, with roots in the Dutch Reformed Church. Our evangelical and Reformed tradition, including our commitment to the Bible and the gospel ofsalvation by grace through faith under the sovereignty of God, continues today as part of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).
