- Primary CareAs your child’s primary care pediatrician, we are always concerned that your child gets the best care possible by us, or by anyone we recommend. We need to see your child in our office before referring her to any specialist. We cannot provide referrals if you have been referred to a specialist by any other provider, including ER’s or urgent care centers.

- Emergency CareMost children with head injuries do not need to be seen in the emergency room or an urgent care. However, call us immediately or take your child to the emergency room if he has any of the following symptoms: one pupil larger than the other, excessive drowsiness or can’t be awakened, headache that is significantly worsening, numbness, repeated vomiting, seizures, loss of consciousness, disorientation or behavioral changes. If you are unsure please call the on-call provider who is available 24/7.

- ImmunizationsWell child visits, or regular checkups, are so important in keeping your child healthy. We monitor your child’s growth and development, answer any questions you have, and provide important vaccinations at these visits.
- Labor and DeliveryRebecca Keenan is originally from New Hampshire, but first came to Pittsburgh to study nursing at the University of Pittsburgh, where she received her Bachelors of Nursing in 2003. She explored several avenues of nursing including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Children’s Hospital, and Labor and Delivery at Magee Women’s Hospital. After 4 years she decided to go back to school to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, and graduated with a Master’s Degree in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009.
- AutismWe provide both ongoing and age-specific screening for Autism at your child’s well visits. We know that early detection means earlier access to important therapies that can help maximize your child’s potential.
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)We may request that you schedule an office visit prior to authorizing refills to better assess whether your child is on the best medication. Examples include Asthma checks every 6 months and ADHD checks every 3 months.
