Alabama Southern Community College is state-supported, fully-accredited two-year college serving southwest Alabama with campuses in Monroeville, Thomasville, Gilbertown, Jackson and Demopolis, Ala. It provides various certificate and degree programs to students. The university has academic divisions, such as business, health sciences, public services, technology and general education. Its curriculum includes accounting, administration concentration, business administration, legal studies and communications, computer information, human resources, software applications and architecture. The college also has various distance learning programs. It additionally organizes sports activities, such as basketball, softball, baseball, soccer and football. The university provides other services, such as housing facilities, transportation, financial assistance, health care, counseling and disabilities services.
