      Vincenzo's Barber Shop in Monroe is a very professional 5 star establishment. I had the best experience taking my 2yr old son there. My son was very frightened by the scissors and buzzers and strangers. He immediately started crying when he got in the chair. The owner explained that we should try to get him more comfortable with everything around him---so he suggested that since my son was crying and would not keep still that we should just comb his hair, give him a lollipop and come back in a couple of hours or the next day. He believes that a little boy's first hair cut should be memorable not traumatic.They should not be getting a haircut while they're being held down and sobbing. I personally was very impressed and surprised by his approach. Happy to say that my son is very comfortable there and now,when it is his turn for a haircut he gets up, shakes the barber's hand, gets right into the barber chair and sits up straight.       DO NOT EVER USE THIS BARBER. THE BARBER IN THE FIRST CHAIR IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND FULL OF HIMSELF. I TRIED TO GET MY SON A HAIR CUT THERE AND APPARENTLY HE IS NOT KID FRIENDLY. HE MADE A RUDE COMMENT TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER ABOUT MY SON. I WONDER IF MY HUSBAND TOOK MY SON THERE WOULD HE HAVE MADE COMMENT? I SERIOUSLY DOUBT IT.
