I contacted the dealership looking to purchase a Polaris Slingshot. A salesman called me and emailed me and confirmed they had two and the out the door price for each. A few days later I text the salesman and he confirmed they still had one. I told him I planned to come the next day and he told me that someone else was coming that afternoon to look at it. I cleared my schedule, drove an hour to take it for a test drive and had money my pocket to buy it for the price quoted. I met the salesman, told him I was ready to buy it. He then told me that he was going to charge approximately another $1,500 because his boss had told him that they weren't making enough profit on price he quoted me. I told him I didn't do business that way and wasn't going to buy it that day after the bait and switch advertising they pulled.
