I entered IGA Plus Supermarket in Waterford,Ca to purchase Milk and a Box of Artificial Sweetener. I procured both items and proceeded to the check out line. While In line, I was confronted by a Security Officer Jerry Kevin Smallwood of Rank Investigations and Protection, Inc., based out of Modesto,ca who told me to "Get Out".



I was confused and didn't know what was going on. I asked to speak with the store owner. He Did not answer. I said "What is wrong with you?" "I am 31 years old. He replied "I am 41". I asked again to speak with the store Owner.



He pushed me back and then pulled out a baton. I jumped back, knelt down and dropped the items I intended to purchase. I then attempted to run out of the store. He tackled me and with the help of a customer , I was placed in cuffs and forced down onto my knees until police arrived on scene.



He told me "You are going to buy me a new pair of glasses." Then he called his Girlfriend to brag about what he had done. I was charged with trespassing, battery, and vandalism. Clearly none of those things occurred.



In the police report , the guard said that I threw the milk across the store. DIDNT HAPPEN. He said that I threw a number of other items. DIDNT HAPPEN. He said I pushed him and I was a threat to the store.

Interesting how Roadshow has been using Rank for several years, since they have only been in business since 2007, and the review was written in 2008. Got to laugh at these companies that post their own reviews and then get caught in their own lies. Doesn't say much for this company's credibility.

I have used Rank for several years providing security for our large consumer show. We conduct several shows a year and Rank never fails to provide the highest level of security in the protection of millions of dollars of inventory and thousands of patrons.
