Great store, this is the good Old Fashioned hardware store where when you come in somebody ALWAYS ask if they can help you. You can say "i need one of these" and they will find it and get it for you.

I had never heard of Wigman's before I needed to replace something another person had purchased there years ago. The selection of products and the knowledge of the people in this store make it well worth finding.



They had things I hadn't been able to find anywhere else in Mobile. We plan to go back when we have more time. We're eager to see what else they have that we didn't know was available but would be very nice to have.

Pretty good Ace hardware and light building supply store, about as close to an "old fashioned" hardware store as one can find in this area. Good all-around selection of common hardware items plus a huge selection of galvanized, stainless, plated, and unplated screws, nuts, washers, etc. sold either by the piece or by the box at fair prices. I generally go there for fastenings in preference to a "big box" store because the selection is better and less expensive as a rule. Good store!
