UMS-Wright Preparatory School, located in Wright, Ala., is a private independent college preparatory school with a preschool through grade 12 curriculum designed to meet the requirements of any college or university a child chooses to attend. UMS-Wright offers individual guidance and has an enrollment of more than 1,200 students. It offers subjects, such as English, American history, mathematics, social studies, science, business, technology, computer studies, music, art, and health and physical education. The school also offers a variety of sports activities, including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, indoor track, outdoor track and field, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis and volleyball. It also houses an art studio, band room, individual practice rooms, chorus room and a drama lab.
