Stokes & Clinton is a general-practice law firm that specializes in collections, detinue/replevin, tort, real estate, family law and bankruptcy. Additionally, it partners with other law firms nationwide to ensure representation throughout the United States. It utilizes proprietary computer collections software that was custom-engineered, developed and copyrighted in 1984. Since its inception, this program has been installed in more than 300 firms in the United States. The company uses information and account management systems that allow its clients to place delinquent accounts via modem, diskette, e-mail or other means. These systems are used to provide clients with account status reports, monthly financial statements and demographic updates. The Firm is located in Mobile, Ala., and is licensed to practice in Alabama, Mississippi and Florida. Stokes & Clinton was founded in 1958 by Ben F. Stokes III.
