It is an integrated, ISO 9002 certified metals processor and distributor in North America that serves more than 45,000 customers with a product line in the plates and shapes, flat-rolled steel and building products markets. Metals USA s building products division creates products used in the residential and commercial building industry. Its flat-rolled division makes a variety of metal products in sheet, coil and strip configurations; in standard and configured blanks; and custom-engineered prepaint metal products. The plates and shapes group operates more than 20 service centers selling a variety of alloy grades and shapes of carbon steel, aluminum and stainless steel. In 2005, Metals USA merged with Flag Holding Corporation. Metals USA s headquarters is in Houston, with a location in Mobile, Ala.
