Gulf Distributing is a full-line distributor of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. These beverages include domestic beers such as Aspen Edge, Coors Light, Coors, Icehouse, Keystone Light, Miller Genuine Draft, Miller High Life, Miller Light, Milwaukee s Best Light, Yuengling and Yuengling Light Lager. Imported beer the company distributes includes Amstel Light, Heineken and Foster s Australian Lager. Freida G. Maisel founded Gulf Distributing Company in 1974. The company has expanded its operations in its current and original headquarters in Mobile, Ala., by acquiring family-owned and operated distributorships and consolidating these companies to form the current structure; two operating distribution units working as separate companies that distribute to the greater Mobile, Ala., market and the Florida Panhandle market.
