Craighead Elementary School s facility includes more than 50 classrooms, a media center, computer lab, cafeteria and a gymnasium. The school provides educational classes to students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school has a parent-teacher association that develops a closer relationship between parents and faculty. The school imparts education in various subjects, such as reading, creative writing, special education, math, science, social studies, art and physical education. It is operated by Mobile County Public Schools, which operates elementary, middle, high, vocational, traditional and intermediate schools. Craighead Elementary School has been operational for more than 50 years and is located in Mobile, Ala.
