Founded in 1974, The Bridge provides substance abuse treatment and behavioral rehabilitation programs for adolescents. The organization operates more than 15 programs that are licensed and certified by the Alabama Department of Youth Services and the Alabama Department of Mental Health Division of Substance Abuse Services. It offers a therapeutic program for troubled teenagers with substance abuse and dependence diagnoses. The organization operates a residential substance abuse treatment program for males. It offers various substance abuse treatment services, including individual, group and family counseling; targeted case management; recreational activities and field trips; adventure and family therapies; and medical care. Additionally, its recovery center provides outpatient services for adults of 18 years and above and outpatient services for adolescents from 12 to 18 years of age with substance abuse problems. The Bridge is located in Mobile, Ala.
