Ernest Everett Just Middle School, located in Mitchellville, Md., is part of the Prince George's County Public Schools. It offers classes to students in grades seven and eight and has an enrollment of more than 1,050 students. It addresses the needs of students during the transition between elementary and high school, using a personalized approach and a flexible, interdisciplinary curriculum. The school provides a comprehensive educational program, including core subjects, such as mathematics, language arts, social studies and science. Additionally, other courses are offered, which include art, music, computer, library, guidance, health and physical education. Community service projects are part of each grade. All students are invited to take part in the school newspaper and student council. Ernest Everett Just Middle School offers a variety of sports, including football, basketball, track and swimming.
