The Heart Center at Mission Hospital is dedicated to providing the most comprehensive cardiovascular care available. Our advanced facilities, highly skilled and caring professionals and wide range of services are focused on healing and comforting, not merely treating a condition. A customized approach enables us to provide complete wellness for the mind, body and spirit. Mission Heart Center is comprised of the Edward & Ann Muldoon Cardiac Center containing 27 Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and 34 Cardiac Telemetry Unit rooms, three cath-labs, full cardiology testing facilities, cutting-edge imaging, electrophysiology lab, cardiac-dedicated operating suites and a comprehensive cardiopulmonary rehabilitation program. Use of advanced technologies, including an advanced hypothermia system, allows us to effectively treat the most critical patients with a high level of success. In fact, our success has led to us being an Orange County EMS designated cardiac receiving center. The skill of our affiliated surgeons, including one who performs the only aortic arch replacements in Orange County, means every patient has the best chance for an optimum recovery.
