Reliant Physical Therapy is a full service, outpatient physical therapy clinic, located in Mission Viejo, California, specializing in TMJ, Jaw, Headache, Neck and Back Therapy. Reliant is dedicated to researching and developing the most effective manual therapy techniques to provide fast, non-invasive, long-term pain relief to clients. Reliant’s approach to therapy is holistic in nature and strives to treat the source of the problem; not simply the symptoms. Advanced Soft Tissue Release (ASTR) is a state of the art, manual therapy technique, developed by Dr. Joseph Jacobs, (patent pending), used to evaluate and treat soft tissue pain associated with TMJ & Jaw Pain, headaches, trigger points, tender points, scar tissue, myofascial restriction and soft tissue adhesions. Dr. Jacobs was originally inspired to develop ASTR when many of his clients responded poorly to traditional physical therapy. ASTR is a non-invasive technique that allows most clients to experience pain relief within a few mintues of their first treatment. Reliant is known in the community as the "go to clinic" for physical therapy because of ASTR and its ability to get clients back to normal within a very short period of time.
