Service Agreement When you can?t afford a full-time IT guy, you can choose a program offered by Randall Computer Services (RCS) and have standard work done, at the times you need it. A service plan is a pre-paid service program where the amount not used at the end of the year is either carried forward, applied to component purchase, or is cashed out. Setup Procedures During a move or migration from one computer to another, user preferences and settings, email, desktop icons, favorites, etc. are needed at the new computer. I can help the user get transferred from the old computer to the new one. Restoring system speed Is your computer running a lot slower than it used to? Can you tell if it is the result of a program installed recently, or recent visit to an unfriendly website? Usually speed can be restored to it?s original rate with some diagnostics and utility tools. Restorative maintenance is a regular part of a service agreement and is offered as the part of a program for managing your network. Routine Maintenance If you aren?t already doing so, disk optimization, clearing unwanted cookies, deleting temporary internet and windows files, and defragmenting your hard drive, should be a monthly routine. Backing up user data first is always a preferred part of the procedure. Non-routine Maintenance These service calls come once or twice a year, or once or twice per system. The task of recovering from a small or large setback calls for a trained technician.
