Carl estimated the total repair cost at $100-200, but didnt call my warranty company. He said later he had done $400-500 worth of work on my car, but couldnt identify the problem. I asked him again if he had contacted my warranty company. He refused to do so, claiming that he knew it would not be covered, even though he said he didnt know what the problem was! I felt uncomfortable with the fact that $400-500 worth of repairs had been done to my car without my prior notice or authorization, and because he flat-out refused to call my warranty company. When I asked what hed done, he talked over me and even walked away during the conversation. He did a lot of talking down to me. I felt he was trying to take advantage of me and was dishonest during the whole process. He got crankier with me and took out the parts he had put in my car. The entire repair was covered by my warranty at a dealership, even though Carl swore that it wouldnt be.
