Based in Miramar, Fla., Miramar High School trains students in allied arts, fine arts, world languages, language arts, mathematics, physical education, reading, science and social studies. The school provides school of excellence program, aviation science magnet program and school of achievement program that helps students in building skills and knowledge. Its reading department teaches critical thinking skills as well as research-based comprehension strategies. Miramar High School provides athletic training, which includes baseball, basket ball, foot ball, soccer, tennis, swimming, volley ball and wrestling. It has attained Southern Association of Colleges and Schools accreditation and has National Board Certified Teachers.
