All of the people who gave this company 5 stars either don't exist (and I worked there for 3 years) or are currently working right under the CEO's nose. This company treats their employees like slaves and regardless of my personal opinion, the proof is in the pudding. There is the highest turn-over rate I have ever seen and there is not one person who's been there for over a year or two- that should not bode well for someone looking for a career. They have a "sophisticated metric system" that tracks your performance but to put it simply- it's an extreme version of micro-managing. Even management could not handle this job- it is a revolving door and management does not last for a couple of months except for the sad cases (I won't mention any names). I worked tirelessly for 3 years there and I thought this company was legitimate- I was wrong. There is NO hope for a promotion and the raises are slim to NONE (1 write up and the entire year's worth of work done is ignored).

Management is open with all employees and values contributions and consistently demonstrates a commitment to the betterment of the employees. The benefits and work environment are stellar. All the employees are intelligent, fun to work with, and passionate about their work. I think this is the most significant factor that makes AMD a great place to work. Even as the company expands rapidly, the atmosphere is fun and exciting. The challenges are daily and varied and leave me satisfied. I have grown a lot working here and see a lot of potential for more in the future.

AMD is growing exponentially with a recent awarded $8 Billion MSPV VA contract and opportunity abounds for hard workers. Events for employees such as National Walking Day, St. Patrick’s Day trivia and my personal favorite, the Brown Bag Empowerment Series make coming to work fun. If you work hard and are good at your job, you are recognized. I’ve had the opportunity to work on special projects in other departments because I’ve been seen as a quick learner and excel in my position. The only drawback is the amount of blackout dates for certain departments. Other than that, this is a great place to work!

AMD gives you what you put in; if you are willing to work hard and put in the time and effort then you will be rewarded. I was able to advance quickly at AMD and I am still constantly learning and growing professionally. There are plenty opportunities opening up with the company’s growth and management is very supportive. Working here has been challenging but equally gratifying.

AMD is definitely a challenging company to work for but in a good way. If you're someone looking for professional growth and opportunities this is a good company to work for. They hold employees accountable but also encourage the team and sing praises for quality work. They expect performance and line managers and senior management are very supportive to make sure you have the tools you need to get things done - all you have to do is ask.



Hardest part of the job is balancing the workload at times. This is a growing company so resources are being added every week which is nice.

Worst company, people I've ever been a part of. This company is a joke. Let me begin with the gut wrenching morning 'standup' meeting. What a debacle of an experience. You stand there with your co-workers reciting this chant, that I felt like cutting my wrist everytime I say it. Some of the senior mangers are tolerable , but there's that "person"... We all know who she is. She is something beyond this planet. What a beast of a human, she is fake as hell and clearly shows favoritism towards certain race. I felt like pulling my chest hairs everytime I step in that building. Run for the hills if you see a job posting from this company. I wish I can give them a negative 5 stars but that's not an option .

Whoever Jen S is must be upper management for AMD or she is completely delusional, or AMD paid you to write this pack of lies. This is hands down THE WORST company to work for. More people need to speak up and perhaps there will be some change. If you work or have worked for this company, please speak up and write a review. They treat the employees not as professional adults but as sweat shop employees. The management is horrible. They constantly write you up for everything. Employees even get written up for attending a company sponsored luncheon on the premises, because they clocked in from lunch 1 minute late. How can you be late when you are outside of your work area in a conference room and the luncheon ran late? They force you to do a cult like chant every morning, I imagine to promote team building, but its all fake, smoke and mirrors. The minute you get back to your work area they belittle and degrade you. You can never do enough for them. 99% of the employees are actively looking for another job and only stay because they haven't found anything else. Jen S is delusional, you get zero support from anyone there. No doors are open for you unless you are senior management or you are a slave who questions nothing I am a hard working professional person and I do not want to just work 4 hours a day and most employees there feel the same. They have lost countless hard working employees because of how horrible the company is. She said the person who wrote the review only wants to work 4 hours a day, what a joke. Most employees are loyal and motivated and hardworking until this company tries to beat you into submission. The owners and upper management are constantly spying on employees and threatening the employees and writing them up. There is no chance for advancement or even a raise. They lie to you and say you will get a raise after 90 days, even after a year you don't get a raise if you have been written up. The turnover rate is ridiculous , its a running joke that most people don't last a year. You are not treated as a adult. Stay as far away from this company as possible. You are forced to work Christmas weekend doing inventory until 4 am. If you don't work inventory then you are fired. This is supposed to be a professional company and they force you to do inventory during the holidays. They have no regard for family or your home life They also make sure they do it between 2 pay periods and 2 holiday paid days so you get minimal overtime. This company is a joke very unprofessional and people should stay as far away from them as possible.

I have never worked for an organization that opened so many doors for their employees. This is the one place where you get what you work for. I find it interesting when I see reviews like below because I assure you that person wanted to work 4 hours a day. This is NOT the company for you if you do not want to work. We work hard - have tons of support from our managers and if you want to learn and grow the senior members of the team open their doors for you. I am loving the challenging and beautiful environment.

Leadership in this company is the worst I've ever witnessed. Degrading and putting down in employees in front of their peers. Constant yelling and hurling of insults The employees are motivated by fear which is probably why they work so hard. The president disgust me!
