Minooka Intermediate School offers a variety of learning opportunities for children. It enrolls more than 370 students in grades five and six. The school serves students in the cities of Channahon, Shorewood, Joliet and Morris, Ill. The school organizes several field trips, sports events, book fairs and dance shows, as well as operates a student council and math and book clubs. Minooka Intermediate School conducts sessions in various subjects, including English, math science, social studies and physical education. The school also enhances the problem-solving, communication and analysis skills. It has a parent teacher organization that supports various fundraising events and activities. Located in Minooka, Ill., Minooka Intermediate School is a part of Minooka CCSD #201, which serves over 4,000 students and is also known as Minooka Community Consolidated School District 201.
