i.e., A local Save yourself a lot of time and do not use this place for service! Took my truck in to have a master cylinder replaced (Parts and Labor $500.00), and after 7 trips back, still not fixed properly. The first master he put in was defective and pushed air into the brake system. Took truck back 5 times for lack of having any brakes before I was told to take it to a dealer and have the ABS system checked. Had to do this because he did not have the proper tools to check the ABS, his scan tool could not do the test. Took the truck to a local GM dealer and after a $200.00 bill was told that the ABS tested totally fine, but I noticed brake fluid seeping from around the reservoir bottle. Took the truck back to him for the 6th time and was told that he did notice that and cleaned it up many times in the 5 previous times it was in his shop. He agreed to change the master under warrantee. After picking up the truck I was stranded on the side of the road 3 times because the front brakes locked up do to air in the lines expanding. Apparently an ASE Master Certified Mechanic has a hard time bleeding brakes. Took the truck back in for the 7th time to have the brakes bled properly so I could actually use my vehicle. Upon picking up the truck for the 7th time, I was told that if I continue to have problems I should take the truck to another mechanic because he knows nothing about Hydro-boost systems! This would have been great information to have upfront! I was also told that he has over 10 hours in the vehicle which he was not able to charge me for and he just doesnt want to see the truck again. I can understand missing the bad master that he first installed, things happen. What I cant except is a master tech that cant bleed brakes or does not know Hydro-boost systems. Jim is a nice guy, and never tried to bill me for the 6 repeated times that I took the truck back into him. He however, never offered to pay the bill from the other shop because he was in over his head and tool capabilities. favorite, or highly recommended because
