Gatewood Elementary School is a Blue Ribbon school located in Minnetonka, Minn. The school serves the educational needs of students in grades kindergarten through six. It offers educational programs in art, computer technology, English, mathematics, social studies, computer science, health education, arts and crafts and physical education. It also provides special education to students with special needs. The school offers nutritious lunch to its students, as well as transportation services. Its media center includes a computer lab, information classroom, video production studio, reading room, workroom, computer research area and tables with seating for 50. The school also offers more than 15,000 print and nonprint materials, including books, videos, CDs and art prints through an automated catalog and circulation system. Gatewood Elementary School has an enrollment of more than 600 students and is a part of the Hopkins School District.
