WorkAbilities is a private, nonprofit organization that serves adults with developmental disabilities. It offers a range of individualized behavioral services and recreational activities. The organization also offers training in communication and interpersonal skills. Its personal care and development program focuses on sensory integration and health management. The organization s vocational skill training program emphasizes on development of functional independence. Its recreational activities include musical programs, craft classes and group cooking. The organization also provides contract services, such as collating, packaging, aluminum recycling, laundry, cleaning and housekeeping. WorkAbilities is licensed to serve up to 175 clients and is located in Golden Valley, Minn.
