The noodle soup is on the late menu. It is the ultimate comfort food, it's under 4 bucks and the broth is heavenly. The rest of the menu is good too, esp. their seafood.

I lived in Mpls for 34 years and this is, by far, the best Chinese restaurant in the Twin Cities! The food is excellent and the service is fabulous. The location, on the East Bank of the University of Minnesota, lends to college crowds, low prices and a very busy atmosphere. Their hours, open seven days a week, and delivery service available, push this restaurant over the top for me. The only downside would be parking, which can be a trick on Washington Avenue if you can't find a meter. Try the Radisson Hotel meters across the street. All of the parking meters are very inexpensive. There are also nearby garages towards campus if you don't mind paying a little more for parking. Believe me - it's worth it! My husband and I have taken so many people to the Village Wok and they always love it. Our own kids ask to eat there whenever we're in town! It's just THAT good!
