General Info
University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital is located on the west bank of the Mississippi River in Minneapolis. We provide a broad range of pediatric programs from surgery, imaging and neonatal and pediatric intensive care to cardiac and oncology (cancer care) services and blood and marrow and organ transplantation. Our clinical staff apply innovative approaches to creating medical breakthroughs based their work with patients and on findings through research at the University of Minnesota. This has led to several firsts, including the first successful pediatric blood marrow transplant, infant heart transplant in Minnesota and cochlear ear implant surgery for a child. Please note: We are changing the name of this location to align with our new brand, M Health Fairview. However, you may still encounter our former branding while we update signage and materials. We apologize for any confusion this may cause.

Provided by DexKnowsI've had good experiences at the Dental School and very poor ones. Some of the faculty insist on selling work that you do not want and seem to think they are gods. Horrible. Some of the faculty also seem a bit emotionally unhinged. The faculty I had great luck with, unfortunately, have left. They probably couldn't stand the place either.

Provided by DexKnowsHad 2 implants done in oral surgery and within 6 months one has a bad infection. Been there several times to get it taken care of and am still waiting for a phone call back. Seems no one cares or knows what to do at this point. Don't get implants done there.

Provided by DexKnowsI had a pretty good experiance here, except for one incident of the wrong tooth being done.. If you are looking for save some money and you dont have insurance this is the place to go. The instructors are always there for the students when needed, they all do a thorough job and i can say the crown they did about 7-8 years ago is still strong and going. :) thank you to the student she was great and always made me feel comfortable. I know there are good and bad experiances from school clinics, but give them a chance to learn and you will save some money in the process too

Provided by DexKnows. I went down there about 4 times had x rays and theeth cleaned (the cost was about &200. I was transfered to the orange group to have more work done. I needed a couple of crowns and some fillings. The student I had ask me if I was ready to get started.I told him to go for it at that point he froze in his chair and was frozen there. He did not know what to do so he told he had to make dental impressions. When he finished he said follow me then I was lead to dental extractions. To tell this was a very bad experience. I had both theeth he wanted to extract pined and crowned by a real dentists without any problems. I hope that the one I had doesn/t start a practice soon before he gets more training. I am sure that other people have had their expectations met.
