These dumpsters were put side by side blocking entry to my driveway on Monday morning--It is Friday evening and I am still unable to get into my driveway and garage despite requesting removal. I am being told that they will get them out by Monday. I had not booked the dumpsters and had not reviewed the contract, the contractor had done so. However, I don't believe the person who booked them understood restrictions and stacking rules either. When the driver dropped them at the end of the driveway side by side blocking all use and access, I asked if the dumpsters could be placed on the side of the driveway so we could get a vehicle in. He said that the hoist equipment would not reach far enough to do that. On Tuesday, I talked to contractor and let them know that I could not access my driveway or garage, dumpsters were full and needed to be picked up. On Wednesday, when the dumpsters were still here so I left a message just after 5. The next day I received a lengthy message telling me of restrictions and potential monetary fines. Mattresses could not be disposed of. I called and was told the mattress I deposited would need to be removed or they would not take the dumpster and would charge a $50 trip charge for coming out. They will not even take the interior springs of a mattress I was told. Because the contractor had disposed of other construction material in the dumpster, the mattress had been blocked in.The message stated hat if anything considered hazardous material were found, there would be a $100 hazardous materials fee and materials would need to be picked up and disposed of by the person who had rented the dumpster within 24 hours. Bricks and cement need to be in the bottom 21 to 22 inches of the tub. If you have brick or cement work to do in addition to other construction disposal, be aware you will need to do that first or there will be consequences. I had to remove other construction stuff from the dumpster in the rain and repack it to make sure brick and cement that had been placed too close to the top was lowered into the dumpster As I understood the message they would charge the $50 trip fee and would not take the dumpster if brick or cement were not in the lowest part of the dumpster. Enough said. I have a large double driveway designed for a truck to easily enter. I would check with this company to make sure they can place your dumpsters somewhere that will allow you to enter your own property so you don't get "stuck" and unable to access your own driveway for a week.I will say the one positive is that their customer service rep, Rachel, is very professional. She was extremely tactful and empathetic when dealing with me despite the fact that I was really unhappy.
