      Founded in 1885, St. Joseph s Home for Children provides emergency shelter and residential treatment services for children. Located in Minneapolis, it offers long-term support solutions for children with emotional and behavioral problems. It additionally offers education, pastoral counseling, injury consulting, developmental screening, immunization, rehabilitative, and occupational, physical and speech therapy services. The organization operates a 36-bed emergency shelter facility. St. Joseph s Home for Children is a part of Catholic Charities of St. Paul & Minneapolis, which is a nonprofit organization and is one of the largest private networks of social service providers in the United States.
