The movers showed up on time when they said, moved piano out quickly with no problems. When they delivered, however was another story. A small piece of the pedestal had gotten sliced off somehow, yet they said "it was like that". Funny how it WASN'T like that when it left the original house, and the piece that was sliced off dropped out of the tarp that covered it. Then the owner/mover argued about where we wanted to put the piano. He said we should move our dining room table out and put it in there, when we had a place for it, but he didn't approve of it because it was 4 ft from a wood burning stove. Don't use the stove that much and didn't need his opinion anyway. He eventually left it in the middle of my living room, instead of off to the side. We moved it to where we wanted it ourselves after he wouldn't....sorry, but don't argue with the person paying you, and then refuse to put it where they want. Only got the average star rating 'cause the other two guys that were with were very nice, and tried to help convince the other guy to do what we wanted, and they were quick. Not worth the hassle of the argument, however.

This is the 2nd time I have used them. Taking an old upright out of a 1940's house can be tricky with tight turns & small doorways. But they were quick, efficient, and they definitely knew what they were doing. The piano made it unharmed as did the walls, woodwork , and flooring in the new and old house. They were affordable and awesome!

They moved in a new piano and also removed an older one from my home. They are thorough, very pleasant and careful about both the instruments and my home. I would definitely recommend them!

Piano Movers Extraordinaire did a great job moving an old piano out of our 2nd floor duplex and a new piano in and up to the 2nd floor. We did not need the old one so they took that one away. They were organized, careful, polite, and made sure everything was in order before leaving. They quoted a good price and were available within a couple of days to do the move. At our house they had the pianos in and out within 20 minutes. I would call them again.

I know I had an extremely tight turn at the bottom of my stairs barely giving them even half an inch of clearance at best... making them flip it on end and rotate it forward. And absolutely no scratches to paint or my woodwork! They were in and out in 30 minutes. A far cry from the "unprofessional movers that originally brought it into my house and then got it wedged for almost three hours at the base of my stairs and kept swearing at me in Spanish not thinking I could understand what they were saying." If you want a five star moving team that even beat the other quotes.... Definitely call Curt's team at piano movers extraordinaire. Them moved my piano from St. Louis park to Big Lake without costing me an arm and a leg. Reasonable. Nice. Totally the only ones I would recommend!

I would highly recommend this company. I have had our upright, antique, grande piano moved several times and this was by far the best. I typically am biting my nails as I have seen so many people struggle moving this piano, but these guys showed up and made it look simple. They were professional, experienced, and had great equipment. They offered me several options to help me move my piano with little notice. Thank you, Piano Extraordinaire!

These guys were great. The office staff was very efficient and ask for dimensions, configuration of staircase, and size of the landing. They scheduled the move on the same, 1st phone call and arrived for appointment exactly on time just 2 days later. The movers were super. They removed the piano from the lower level and had to navigate a very tight stairway with a turn. The piano never touched a wall and there were absolutely no nicks or marks on it or the walls. The price was very fair and we recommend them without reservation.

These guys are awful. They didn't put anything over the piano when moving it from the truck, even though it was lightly sprinkling out and the keys got all wet. Then they dragged the dolly along out carpet ruining them. When I called later to complain, the owner shrieked at me and HUNG UP ON ME! I canceled my check. Just awful service.

We chose Piano Movers Extraordinaire for their expertise. I've experienced 4 piano moves and this was by far, the smoothest piano move. The gentleman who showed up knew exactly what to do and made sure the piano wasn't damaged during the move and transit. I highly recommend them. Using another company is simply not an option. Even the man I spoke with on the phone was wonderful! USE this company and you will NOT be disappointed!!!

These men were easy to work with; they scheduled a move just a few days after I called. They were accommodating; though they had to remove a difficult door and fit the piano into my small home, they made no complaints and were kind. They suggested a tuner for me as well. Very inexpensive (the best estimate I found) and they made the job look easy!!!I would hire them again and recommend them faithfully!

Curt and crew took great care of our Kimball antique grand piano during a tricky move. They moved our piano from a second floor to the 2nd floor in another home that had a tight entrance and long flight of stairs. They are very much the professionals. Highly recommend them.
