Northern Lights is the best and I'll tell you why...1) When I buy something I want to see it. They have a showroom. No other dj company in minnesota has that. They (other companies) tell you to watch a DVD or visit a a upcoming wedding that one of there dj's is doing. (how would you like someone to show up at your wedding wearing flips flops and a tank top just to see the dj?) Sad but true2) Pro Sound? Northern Lights has it. Others do not. Speakers on poles is not pro sound! My brother had a dj with that type of set up and it broke down half way through the night? But when I made the right desicion and use Northern Lights there setup was crisp and clear. Not hollow and overbearing.3)Special lights? Northern Lights has an awesome light show and the also included fog. Others say they have a great light show but i beg to differ. It almost looked like they bought there lights from a local radio shack or best buy.4) Paying for entertainment should also include a dj who can get

After tapping every resource I could find, and looking for days for reputable DJ, and constantly being told that every DJ I was trying to get was not available, Northern Lights stepped up. Previously, I spoke with them and they to were unable to do anything, but I tried again. The owner, Rick, was willing to buy the extra equipment to do my event and we scheduled it. He never faltered and was there on time. Never charged me more and put on an excellent show. One of the most memorable events of my life and I can't say enough. Use Northern Lights, and you won't be disappointed.

I used Northern Lights for my wedding and I thought they were superior. The DJ arrived early and was set up before any of my guests arrived. Rick (the owner) went above and beyond to make sure our dance was perfect. The video slide show was wonderful. Rick is very nice and worked to know my fiance (husband) and me but never crossed any lines. He was extremely professional. The DJ was not a human jukebox. He was personable and kept our guests entertained. Our dance floor was packed until the very end. I would (and have) recommend Northern Lights to anyone.
