Paulette and her husband Paul opened Neuro Strength as a way to bring a cutting edge technology to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Neuro Strength, a fitness center for the brain, has been offering Brainwave Optimization™ since 2007. Since the beginning, it has been located in the Valley Office Park in Bloomington, MN, and has shared office space with the software development team of Brain State Technologies, for whom Paul serves as Director of Software Engineering. Paulette was attracted to the process of Brainwave Optimization because of a great respect for its developer Lee Gerdes as well as a positive personal experience with the technology. For Paulette, optimization training brought an increased energy level and creativity throughout the day, a greater sense of calm and the minimizing of a terrifying fear of heights. Paulette initially completed the Brain State Technologies™ Basic Training Course in, and has annually participated in Masters Technologist Training Programs and has achieved Masters Certification Level II. She continues to take educational courses offered throughout the year through Brain State Technologies and other organizations. She received a BA from the University of Minnesota in Physiology and Social Work and worked in corporate wellness and benefits programs prior to raising a family. She has worked as a personal home health aide for the elderly, serves as a community volunteer, is a member of the Bloomington and Minneapolis Regional Chambers of Commerce and a member of the Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback (AAPB).
