      Alcoholism is a ubiquitous disease that affects 140 million people worldwide. That doesn’t count the family, friends and coworkers of those who are addicted. Drug addiction affects hundreds of millions of people as well. In fact, the two often overlap, making it even more difficult for a person to break free. Unfortunately, many folks do not seek treatment for their disease. It could be because they don’t know where to turn. Some people also mistakenly assume that drug and alcohol treatment, while it might work for some people, won’t work for them. Our mission at Minneapolis Drug Treatment Centers is to rid you of the disease that has probably taken over your life. We do this in a safe, controlled and compassionate setting, with trained medical staff always available. We have worked with thousands of individuals who never thought they would find themselves where they are. Drug abuse and alcohol addiction has probably left you feeling hurt, alone, embarrassed and afraid. We understand all these reactions, and we have the experience and training to help you overcome your addictions and begin a new life that is drug and alcohol free. Our goal is to empower residents to take charge of their lives again. We know you had different plans for your life, and we want to give you the strength and treatment that will enable you to pursue your dreams. We understand that some people are able to hide their addictions and achieve a certain level of success in life. Outwardly they are fine, but inside they are hurt, confused and often angry. We understand why this happens and will help you address the issues that are making you feel this way. We won’t judge or lecture you. We know this is a very difficult time in your life, and we want to work with you to make things better.
