      Dr Margaret Green at the Life Skills Institute & Clinic serves the Twin Cities and is dedicated assisting you in learning "life skills" to thrive and find meaning, joy and love. Our warm supportive clinic enables you to learn more deeply how to live these skills and create a life that makes a "world of difference". We offer four forms of psychotherapy: • Individual therapy • Couples therapy • Family therapy • Group therapy We also offer workshops and are available for public speaking. Some of the therapeutic techniques we use include: 1. Behavioral techniques: assertiveness training, relaxation training, behavior modification, positive reinforcement, cognitive re-structuring 2. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) 3. Visualization techniques 4. Stress management techniques 5. Creative techniques: letter writing, journaling, playing the piano, use of art materials 6. Psychological testing: MMPI, Myer-Briggs, Strong Campbell, Kuder, etc. 7. "Experiments" – trying out new behaviors/actions and observing what happens 8. Exercises, including (but not limited to): centering, grounding, boundaries, communication 9.
