The Crystal Police Department works to provide law enforcement services and maintain a peaceful and safe environment. It offers various safety and crime prevention programs, including home and building security surveys, operation identification, neighborhood watch, robbery awareness and fraud prevention. The department handles cases related to child abuse, harassment, bomb threat, domestic violence, abduction, robbery and sexual crimes, as well as assists in property-related issues. The Crystal Police Department also provides various victim assistance services and hosts National Night Out programs. It supports the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) program, which helps children avoid involvement with drugs, gangs and violence.
