As a part of city of Bloomington in Minnesota, Bloomington Police Department Administrative Services Division offers records management, staff training and information technology solutions for the department. It is responsible for processing, maintaining and disseminating police records that include confidential and sensitive data. The division offers case referral and property evidence management and recovery services. Its facilities are spread over an area of more than 40,000 square feet. Bloomington Police Department Administrative Services Division is also responsible for overseeing a jail that has over 15 rooms, water tanks and interview rooms. Additionally, the division has sworn and community service officers who administer food preparation and jail laundering services.
