Established in 2002, Blaine Public Works Department oversees economic development and improve the infrastructure, in terms of new development and re-development of the city. Based in Blaine, Minn., the department comprises various divisions, including engineering, forestry, GIS, parks, public works and senior center divisions. It offers maintenance, construction of public facilities and provides utility services. Blaine Public Works Department undertakes several developmental works, such as maintenance and repair of city streets, parks, buildings, street sweeping, traffic signs and storm sewers.
