Armor Security was established in 1972 as a single person locksmith service to Minneapolis and St. Paul homes and businesses. Today, Armor Security services the Twin Cities, central Minnesota and western Wisconsin with a fleet of more than 20 service vehicles. The company provides a variety of products and services, such as intrusion, fire and life safety systems, fire sprinkler monitoring, access control, telephone entry and intercom systems, camera surveillance, integrated systems, locksmith and safe services, distributed sound and home theatre, and testing and maintenance. The company is a subsidiary of Tri-S Security Corporation, which was formed in 2001 to acquire and consolidate contract guard and electronic security companies that serve government and private industries. Armor Security maintains a location in Minneapolis.
