Are you working miles away from home? Do you need a home away from home? Or are you just looking for a get-away in a retro motel? It's the kind of place you can call home with a BBQ grill right outside your back door. Our rooms are the size of a small apartment, each having it's own attached garage! All rooms have brand new mid-size fridges, microwaves and heat/air units. Each room has a kitchen table & chairs, large TV's with 285 Direct TV premium channels & NFL season ticket, MLB Channel, Internet access, two full or queen beds, (some with a third twin bed). Our rooms are all smoke free, but for those of you who do smoke you can feel free to do so in the sitting area of your own attached garage. It's a quiet country setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but only 20 min from The Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton. Outside your front door you'll see the last stretch of the Baywood bricks (Lincoln Highway) leading to the new rt 30. Outside your back door you can enjoy watching the deer play in the cornfield. It's a spot where there's something for everyone. With many hunting facilities near by it makes a great place for the hunters. For the golfers, there's countless golf courses all within a few miles. It's a great location for the pipeline workers, just a few miles from the jobs in Carrollton ,Kensington, Hanoverton, Scio, and Mechanicstown .Are you working miles away from home? Provided by YP.comI'm the new owner and I wrote a response to an old review. I added a link but you need to copy and paste this in your address bar then scroll down to read about a stay with us. This will give you a better understanding of our place. http://www.dennygibson.com/hinckley2011/day02/
We are the new owners and yes the phone number is screwed up. The Motel was closed when we bought it and we got a new number. I'm not much of a computer wiz but we do know the motel business. We do constant up dates on it and continually strive to make it nice. It's a quiet country setting and each room has it's own garage. It's also a smoke free motel. You can smoke in your garage if you like but the rooms are smoke free. A rather large fire alarm system was installed and there's no way to shut it off. The rooms are huge!! It's kinda like the places you used to stay when you traveled with your grandparents back in the day. Come and visit us and I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay. We have 200 channels on Dish TV. All rooms have refrigerators and microwaves. We're a family owned and operated business so it's got our heart and sole. That's what makes it such a great place!

Just stayed a few nights in November of 2010. Nice clean place. Nice atmosphere, friendly people. Would recommend it. Oh and it has your own garage, makes it nice for winter. Had a little trouble finding the phone number though. It came up under a terminated phone. They said they're new owners.

Provided by YP.comThe motel is situated between East Canton and Minverva, Ohio along Rt 30. It looks like something out of a movie set with it's quaint, single car garages and quiet country setting
The motel, should not be confused with a hotel - it doesn't provide hair dryers, the heating and cooling is noisy and room based - every room I've stayed in has 2 double beds and a shower stall only. For the price and location it's a decent deal. Rooms are clean. The outdoor pool is nice in the summer, and the midwestern sensabilities of guests mean that the quite time is observed and you won't be woken by drunks or loud parties.
Towels are thin and short, if you're visiting for any length of time, you might want to pack your own.

This is true we are a Motel not a Hotel. This post was and older one. We're the new owners (opened Oct. 2010) and we're family owned and operated. We've replaced all of the heating/cooling systems. We got all new bedspeads, blankets, sheets, mattresses towels & washclothes, many new sinks, toilets, chairs & carpet... We're working very hard to make our place nice. You're right though it'll never be a Hotel it's more like a home. It's the kind of place you stayed in with your grandparents very Retro. You can follow this link to see what others have to say about us. Scroll down to where he tells about his stay with us. http://www.dennygibson.com/hinckley2011/day02/
