      Since 1981, Star Satellite has been a local satellite retailer in the Madison and Milwaukee areas. Over the past three and half decades, we've expanded our service area to include most of the state of Wisconsin as well as northern Illinois and, most recently, added a retail store in West Allis. While we have since closed our Janesville retail space, our footprint and outstanding service remains the same. Being in the satellite television industry for over 30 years, Star Satellite has seen and done it all. We're experienced in everything from putting a simple satellite dish in the backyard to servicing bars, restaurants, and hotels. We help the people of Southern Wisconsin get the high-quality TV, Internet, and phone services they want and back it up with local customer support. We also sell a variety of security, data networking, and monitoring solutions for more specialized configurations.       On 7/29/12 our satellite went out.I called Dish toll free number. They said we wouldnt be able to get a tech out until 8/9/12. On Monday7/30/12 I called Star Satelllite because thats who Dish hotline tech said to call. Considering Dish couldnt and wouldnt make it for 11 days, I was grateful that Star Satellite made it Monday7/30/12 before noon!! I will NEVER deal with Dish hotline service again!! I will STAY LOCAL and get GREAT SERVICE!! The supervisor that I talked to with at Dish said she also would be very unhappy if she couldnt have service for 11 days!! At Star Satellite they were easy to get ahold of Monday morning and certainly went the EXTRA MILE that Dish didnt do. They followed up with me to make sure everything was working good here. Thanks to the professional staff at Star Satellite, they now have a new happy customer and hopefully others will follow and stay local. I know I learned my lesson!!!! Staying LOCAL puts LOCALl families to work!! Deb-Verona
