      Since 1950, our family’s business has been shoes. Our story started when Stan and Emerence Sajdak opened Stan’s Bootery on So. 27th Street and Oklahoma in Milwaukee. They established the principles that continue to inspire our work today: providing exceptional sit-and-fit service and fashionable comfort to every customer. These values have guided us ever since. We give our full attention to each person who enters our stores. We measure both feet and take the time to find them the perfect shoes. And we travel far and wide to fill our stores with the latest trends from the world’s best brands, providing our customers a large range of styles and sizes for hard-to-fit feet. Much has changed since 1950. Two additional generations have expanded our company into multiple Stan’s Fit For Your Feet and New Balance stores in the Greater Milwaukee area. Digital foot scanners and other cutting edge technology give our Fit Specialists and Certified Pedorthists new tools to ensure a great fit. Foot care products and accessories complement our shoes and bring fashion and comfort from head to toe. Our third generation family business is still locally-owned and operated. Everything we do is about providing every customer with the best service. Stan’s Fit For Your Feet was named National Shoe Retailer of the Year, Milwaukee’s Best Shoe Store, Southeastern Wisconsin’s Top 10 Businesses of the Year, and most recently honored as Wisconsin’s Family Business, “Sole of the Family” award by Smith & Gesteland, First Bank Business Bank, and Whyte, Hirschboeck, Dudek Law Firm. Giving back to our community is a part of the fabric of our business. Our Share-A-Pair event is a testament of our partnership with the community. Throughout the year we collect gently used or new footwear and donate the footwear locally to Fr. Gene’s HELP Center and Repairer’s Of the Breach, a homeless day shelter. We also donate globally to Soles4Souls, a national non-profit organization that donates shoes around the world. To date, we have collected and donated over 130,000 pairs of shoes. Stan’s & New Balance sponsor a number of causes such as the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, Briggs & Al’s Run & Walk for Children’s Hospital of WI, Orthopedic Hospital of WI Run & Walk, Children’s Hospital School Room Fund, and many more local races & fun runs. Our successes are a testament to our deep history, strong local ties, and commitment to offering outstanding value and excellent service to every person who walks into our stores.
