Milwaukee High School of the Arts provides programs in music, theater and creative writing. The school offers accelerated courses in English, mathematics, science and social studies. Its physical education department provides programs in instructional swimming and dance. The school offers extracurricular activities in choir and drama. Milwaukee High School of the Arts also provides opportunities to participate in the National Honor Society. The school offers sports activities, such as golf, soccer, football, wrestling, baseball and basketball. It provides academic and college-preparatory guidance services. In addition, the school manages a parent-teacher-student organization. It operates Parents for the Arts Contributing Together (PACT), which is a nonprofit organization. Milwaukee High School of the Arts additionally publishes a newspaper. c
