I am not one to complain very much or even write a review, however after my experience today I felt the need to.



I walked in today for my appointment at 12:30pm, I did not go back until 12:55pm. I worked at a Spa for three years so I was very understanding as these things happen. I just got a manicure the weekend prior so all I needed was a shellac polish change. I received that service and then went to go check out. The lady told me my total was $31, in my mind i'm wondering "well that is a lot for just a nail polish change" so I ask her how much a manicure usually is. She told me $31, well long-story short they were charging me for a shellac manicure that I DID NOT receive. That girl didn't know how to answer my question or deal with the register so she walks me to the front and sends me off to another receptionist who proceeds to tell me that a shellac polish change is just the same price as a shellac manicure. The way those girls handled the situation was absolutely ridiculous, rude, and very tactless. In any other spa there is a difference between a shellac polish change and a shellac manicure (due to time spend cutting cuticles, massage of the hands, shaping, etc.) It is very unfortunate as I just moved into the area and was looking for a place where I could get my monthly brazilian waxes, eyebrows, nails, and hair/color done. This place seemed to be perfect for me. Now, I will never go back again just because of this occurrence, which is sad. I do not recommend!

I found Penton House on line thru Bare Essentuals and I am so glad I did. I have seen Catherine, one of their estheticians for facials and have received so many compliments on my skin. Aubre did a great job with my cut & color. I recommend the entire group for all beauty needs.

Great Place! Reasonable prices! I loved getting my haircut there! I got lots and lots of compliments after i got it. I didn't like getting a manicure or pedicure there. Didn't think it was that great. Massage therapy is great! and also the other treatments they have available.
