The Milpitas Library owns a range of books, magazines and journals and issues library cards. It also carries DVDS, digital records, images and periodicals. The library features a community room that hosts educational and cultural activities and can accommodate up to 120 people. The Milpitas Library organizes adult literacy and music programs for adults. In addition, it offers storytelling and reading programs for children. The library manages a book group and hosts book discussions. The Milpitas Library is a part of the Santa Clara County Library, which operates various branches and bookmobiles. The Santa Clara County Library also provides outreach services and delivers library materials to senior citizens and individuals with disabilities.
